It is ValCon’s policy to instill the highest safety standards and practices with our employees on all projects. Regard for the safety of the general public, ValCon employees and the employees of other tradesmen is the responsibility of all levels of our organization.

Our Safety Philosophy

Our safety philosophy has been developed to reflect and communicate the proactive safety culture maintained through all levels of ValCon. ValCon complies with appropriate safety and security laws and regulations such as those established by:

 

 

  • The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)
  • The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency)
  • The DOT (Department of Transportation)
  • Project Constructors
  • Project Owners
  • All other applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations.
In addition, our corporate safety philosophy includes the following vision statement:

There is no one single person within an organization that can effectively create, implement, and manage an effective safety program. It is, therefore, the responsibility of each employee to be proactive within the safety culture of ValCon and work as a team to achieve and maintain our safety goals. All employees are encouraged and expected to comply with these goals and never compromise safety in lieu of reaching production goals. It is of the utmost importance that we do all we can to keep our team safe.
